Austrian born Martha Wusatiuk has lived in Canada since the late ‘60’s. It was a little over ten years ago that she started painting seriously under the tutorship of an established artist, John Smith of Toronto. At that time she joined the Palettes of Whitchurch-Stouffville, which today is known as The Village Palettes Art Group. Martha continues to attend painting workshops by well known artists to further her knowledge and develop her style. The medium for her impressionistic work is acrylic. Her work explores nature especially northern landscapes and the beauty within her own flower gardens. As an avid skier and traveller, her subject matter is often a result of these outings.
Martha exhibits her work mainly in Stouffville and Markham.
