Andy J. Skinner
Andy J. Skinner spent his boyhood in the West of England and as an artist takes pleasure in painting scenes of the English and Canadian countryside, mountains and seascapes. His mediums are, water based oils, and open acrylics, painted in an impressionistic style. He has also worked with watercolour, pastel, and pen and ink drawing. Art has always been a hobby for him, something to enjoy in his spare time.Other hobbies include writing and poetry.
He was one of six founding members of the Richmond Hill Group of Artists, in February 1978. He is now a member of The Village Palettes Art Group, and also The Schoolhouse Group of Artists, and plans to paint more in the future as retirement replaces the working life.
