Glady Rech was born in Purves, Manitoba but spent the majority of her youth growing up in Winnipeg.  She moved to Markham 1966 and for many years was kept busy with everything that comes with a young family.  Glady started painting in 2010 under the guidance of artist John H. Smith.  While she is still learning the art of painting, her work has evolved over the years into a celebration of the natural world and the special calm that can be found only in nature. 

 

Glady is continually showing her creative works in and around the Markham area at various art shows and events.
